About ReJazz New Orleans
ReJazz New Orleans is an organization formed at the beginning of the 2008 Hurricane season to help with continued support towards the re-establishment of area businesses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Although over two years has passed since the initial destruction caused by the flooding and Hurricane Katrina now is the best possible time for support.
The mission of ReJazz New Orleans is to help nominated businesses of New Orleans. It is the businesses that really made New Orleans a national treasure. Local voice and data infrastructure has had time to be replaced but the local businesses owners who employ the citizens of New Orleans are the ones who need continued support. By providing Voice over I P (VoIP) services from Layer 2 Communications those local businesses selected from the list of nominations will benefit from a proven voice technology that will greatly reduce if not totally eliminate their Bell South telephone expense.
As homage to New Orleans' vibrant culture, ReJazz New Orleans is themed around Mardi Gras beads. Proceeds from donations will be utilized to provide Voice Over I P telephone service to businesses in the greater New Orleans area.
